Dear Parents/Carers,

It’s been another busy week at Blacklow Brow.  The Year 5 and Year 6 classes are having specialist Spanish lessons from a teacher at LDA.  She
thinks our children are delightful and eager to learn. Year 3 and 4 have been swimming and setting a good example for the school in the local
community. They are very good swimmers!

The Nursery had a Nursery Rhyme day on Thursday. All the children dressed up as their favourite characters. We had Bobby Shafto, Incy Wincy
Spider, little stars, a fantastic fish and lots of mice. The teachers came in character too as the three blind mice! The school was treated to a sing song from the early year’s children. It was fantastic.

The weather is getting colder. Please ensure your children come to school with a coat. Our children need their coats when playing out and for the many trips we are taking this term.  It’s essential they have a coat for swimming.
