You will have all now received the ‘Change for Life’ booklet this week giving some great advice on making healthy changes to your diets for life. The benefits of a healthy lifestyle seem to be all over the news at the moment with experts saying to reduce the risk of developing a long term condition we need to change what we eat and how active we are. As a school we provide a balanced diet for our children and we are requesting that only healthy snacks are brought in for break time and that packed lunches reflect the need to reduce sugar in our diets.
Please be careful in the mornings when walking round to your children’s classrooms. Children should not be pedalling on bicycles and using scooters on school premises. You are welcome to park them for the day in the bike shelter. In the cold weather we make every effort to grit the playground but exercising caution is still wise.
